Three Killed and Four Wounded in Israeli Strike on Jenin, Palestinian Ministry Says
(Arab World Press) - Palestinians mourned three young men on Wednesday who were killed in an Israeli military operation in the city of Jenin in the West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed.
The ministry added in a statement that four other people were wounded during the Israeli raid.
The statement identified the dead as 21-year-old Hamza Ararawi, Mohammed Nasser al-Sabti (19), and Ayman Youssef Azouqa (19).
The Voice of Palestine radio had reported that Israel launched a raid on the city, adding that the resulting bombardment reached the al-Damj neighbourhood.
Nasser al-Sabti, Mohammed’s father, said, “My son, praise God, spent a long period of time in prison – about a year and a half, and was released about a year and a half ago. He used to rush to support the youth resistance fighters whenever he heard about their presence or gatherings of the Israeli army.”
