Palestinians in West Bank Bury 2 Victims Killed by Israeli Forces
(AWP) - Palestinians in the town of Dora, southern Hebron province in the West Bank, mourned a man and woman on Tuesday whom their relatives say were killed by Israeli gunfire during a raid in the area on Monday.
The Palestinian news agency said Mohamed Hassan Ibrahim Abu Siba, 22, and Ahd Mahmoud Oulad Mohamed, 23, were killed and nine others wounded by Israeli gunfire in the town.
Ahd’s family said she left behind a six-month-old baby.
Clashes erupted when Israeli troops raided the town on Monday and fired live and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens.
Israel has escalated its military raids on towns and cities of the West Bank since the war in the Gaza Strip began on October 7.
