Palestinian Gunmen Clash with Israeli Forces Storming Balata Camp in Nablus
(AWP) - Eyewitnesses said that clashes broke out between Palestinian gunmen and Israeli forces that had stormed into the Balata camp for refugees near the city of Nablus in the West Bank on Monday morning.
The witnesses added that the Israeli forces opened all the checkpoints surrounding the camp and that clashes included the throwing of explosive devices.
One of the witnesses said that the Israeli force later withdrew entirely from the camp and its vicinity without any deaths or injuries on either side.
AWP video footage showed bullet holes on the doors of shops near the camp’s entrance with empty bullet casings on the ground.
