Israeli Raids on Gaza Continue on Day 11 of the War In Row

(AWP) - Thick plumes of smoke continue to billow into the air above Gaza on Tuesday as airstrikes continued on the 11th day of the Israeli war on the enclave. The Palestine news agency WAFA reported that 71 people were killed in attacks on Khan Younis and Rafah.

WAFA stated that 28 people, including women and children, were killed while dozens of others were wounded in the bombing of a five-storey house in Rafah.

Israeli aircraft also shelled a house in the al-Yabani neighbourhood of Khan Younis, killing 10 Palestinians, including children, and injuring displaced people in a school near the attack site.

Six people were also killed in an attack on a house in southeastern Khan Younis, while another raid in the western part of the city left casualties, according to WAFA.

The Interior Ministry in Gaza confirmed that 23 people were killed and 50 others wounded in the latest Israeli attacks on Khan Younis, noting that the bodies of 21 people killed, and several others injured arrived at the hospital following an attack on a house in the al-Emarati neighbourhood of Khan Younis.

Meanwhile, Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee said that the army shelled more than 200 military buildings affiliated with Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza during the past day.

Adraee said on his X account (formerly Twitter), that the Israeli army targeted what it described as the “command headquarters of the Palestinian factions across the Gaza Strip,” noting the killing of “activists” from these groups.

He added that several underground tunnels, military headquarters and depots containing weapons which he claimed belonged to Hamas were targeted in Gaza.
