Israeli Forces Storm Jenin, Qalqilya, Nablus and Hebron – Palestinian Sources
(AWP) - Palestinian media reported that Israeli forces raided the city of Jenin and its camp for the second time on Tuesday, a few hours after a similar incursion at dawn.
The Palestinian news agency (WAFA) said that a Palestinian was “seriously wounded by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire during their storming of the Jenin camp on Tuesday afternoon.”
Earlier in the day, eyewitnesses told AWP that an Israeli force had raided the city of Jenin and its refugee camp and spread its soldiers across several neighbourhoods, with gunfire and clashes heard in multiple locations.
Medical sources said that a Palestinian was killed by Israeli army gunfire during the incursion on the city of Qalqilya, with forces detaining two other Palestinians during the operation.
Another Israeli force raided several houses in the Askar camp next to the city of Nablus in the West Bank.
Eyewitnesses told AWP that numerous Palestinian vehicles were confiscated in similar Israeli incursions on several towns in the Hebron governorate.
Israel has escalated its raids across the West Bank in conjunction with its ongoing war on the Gaza Strip since October 7.
