Israeli Drone Attack Targets Vehicle in Southern Lebanon
(AWP) - The Israeli army said on Monday that its aircraft carried out strikes on a series of targets belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, including a vehicle carrying members of the Lebanese group in the area of Maroun el-Ras.
Israeli army spokesman, Avichay Adraee, said on the X platform that several infrastructures were also destroyed in Odaisseh and Khiam.
He added that two military buildings and a military site were attacked in the areas of Tayr Harfa, Jebbayn and Maroun el-Ras.
Earlier in the day, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli drones had targeted a car near Bint Jbeil Hospital in southern Lebanon.
The agency said that several people were wounded as a result of the attack but did not specify the number.
An almost daily exchange of shelling has erupted between the Israeli army and Lebanese Hezbollah and Palestinian factions since the outbreak of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip on October 7.
