Israel Bombs Central Gaza as Gunfire Heard in Al-Nuseirat Camp, Palestinian Sources Report
(AWP) - AWP video footage showed heavy smoke rising from several locations that Palestinians say were bombed by the Israeli army in al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip on Monday.
Residents expressed fears of a large-scale Israeli military operation in the camp.
The sounds of heavy gunfire were heard as anxiety gripped the residents, while Israeli tanks continued to advance north of the camp.
Israel has continued its war on the Strip since October 7, deploying aerial, naval and artillery bombardment, in addition to ground operations across Gaza.
On Monday, the Gaza Ministry of Health said that the number of casualties from the Israeli war has risen to at least 33,797 killed and 76,465 wounded.
