Gaza Residents Cry for Help After Israeli Bombing Levelled Al-Karama Neighbourhood to the Ground
(AWP) - Palestinian residents of al-Karama in northwest Gaza stood stunned among the massive destruction that befell their neighbourhood after Israeli warplanes intensified their raids on the area throughout Wednesday.
The Ministry of Interior in the Gaza Strip said that Israeli warcrafts bombarded al-Karama with a continuous barrage of raids, killing and wounding a number of residents in the process.
Palestinian residents were seen searching among the destroyed houses’ rubble for whatever left of their belongings in order to leave the area that was turned into ruins by the Israeli bombing.
The Israeli army is intensifying its raids on the Gaza Strip for the fifth day running, leaving more than 1050 Palestinians killed and around 5011 wounded, in addition to widely destroying the buildings, infrastructure and vital facilities.
Gaza residents fear a complete power outage after fuel shipments ran out, following Israel's announcement of a complete cut off of water, electricity, and fuel supplies to the Strip.
