Egyptian and German Foreign Ministers Meet in Cairo for Gaza Talks
(AWP) - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock held a session of talks at the foreign ministry headquarters to discuss international efforts to bring the war in Gaza to an end and enhance the access of humanitarian aid deliveries.
The talks in Egypt are part of Baerbock’s first leg of a Middle East tour, and coincide with a tour by United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres.
The UN chief held talks on Sunday with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Foreign Minister Shoukry in Egypt.
