Palestinian Man Says Israeli Special Forces Killed Son, 3 Others West of Ramallah
(AWP) - A Palestinian man in the village of Kafr Ni’ma, west of Ramallah, in the West Bank, said that an Israeli special force killed his son and three others, deliberately shooting them near the family’s house on Monday evening.
“We heard shooting, so we we went out to see what was going on, only to find that they had killed my son. My son had prayed and gone out. They shot him dead at the house gate, in front of our eyes,” said Raslan Abdou, whose son, Mohamed, was killed.
“Others slowed down to see what happened, but a special force in the place, without any military vehicles as usual, opened fire at them, killing them all. I later learnt that they had opened fire at the car and killed all three people on board. They were only civilians,” he recounted.
Earlier, the Palestinian health ministry said that four people had been killed and eight others wounded by Israeli gunfire in the village.
“The eight wounded were carried from the village to the Palestine Medical Complex,” it said, adding that the injuries were mild to medium.
Security sources told the Palestinian news agency, WAFA, that the Israeli forces stormed the village after opening fire at the vehicle, sparking clashes.
The Fatah Movement announced a general strike in Ramallah and al-Bireh on Tuesday in protest against the killing of the four Palestinians.
