(AWP) - ‘GISEC Global 2024,’ the 13th edition of one of the Middle East and Africa’s leading cybersecurity exhibitions, kicked off at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Tuesday and will conclude on April 25.
The three-day event will involve the participation of over 20,000 visitors, 750 of the world’s most prominent exhibitors, over 350 information security specialist speakers, and 1000 ‘ethical hackers’ from over 130 countries.
Maher Jadallah, a Senior Regional Director at digital security company Tenable, explained his company’s keenness to participate in GISEC Global each year.
He said, “We participate in the GISEC exhibition every year in the UAE because we are interested in the business partners who are here and the customers who deal with us, who are our partners in success. We specialise in information security and detecting security vulnerabilities.”
Nida Abdel Aziz, Marketing and Sales Manager at IT Security C&T, said, “Our participation in the exhibition was very valuable for us, as we met with our customers, and are also working to build new partnerships, providing assistance to our visitors and providing them with consultations.”
Another exhibitor, Ahmed Sultan, a Senior Regional Director of the cybersecurity company Shifra, said, “We have always participated in GISEC since its first edition. This year, we are presenting eight companies participating with us at the exhibition in various fields, including cloud security, email security, and secure programming methods.”
In addition to the participation of industry leaders, innovative startups, and cybersecurity experts, the exhibition also features product demonstrations and interactive workshops that enable participants to gain expertise in cybersecurity technologies.
