Cybersecurity Conference in Bahrain Discusses Latest Digital Security Technologies
(AWP) - The second Arab International Cybersecurity Summit (AICS) in the Bahraini capital of Manama is discussing the latest digital security technologies with the participation of dozens of cybersecurity experts and high-profile international speakers.
The conference aims to exchange expertise and security knowledge in the field of cybersecurity and to provide all aspects of international and Arab cooperation in combating cyber vulnerabilities and threats.
Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, CEO of the Bahraini National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), said, "The conference we are attending today brings together experts in the field of cybersecurity, technology service providers in the region, internet service users, and individuals, to learn about the latest developments in cyber-attacks, and how they can develop their capabilities to protect their systems and themselves."
Through discussion sessions and training workshops, the conference explores advanced cybersecurity solutions, attracting a group of leading cybersecurity companies and innovative digital technological companies to participate in its accompanying exhibition.
Participants stressed the importance of the event, noting its benefits for various sectors in light of current global technological advancements.
Youssef Hassan Youssef, a Marketing Manager at a cybersecurity company, said, "We are a leading cybersecurity company with many customers in Bahrain. The Bahraini government is very interested in cybersecurity, which is crucial for government sectors, banking sectors, and petrochemical sectors It is very important that we participate in this exhibition."
Mohammed Amin, Head of Communications at a cybersecurity company in Cyprus, said, "The field of cybersecurity is certainly and undoubtedly ever-evolving, as it needs artificial intelligence to accelerate processes and reduce digital risks."
The conference will present discussion sessions on relevant cybersecurity solutions, with leading speakers in the field from cybersecurity experts, government agencies, industry and academia.
The sessions aim to enhance communication between participants and cybersecurity experts in effectively confronting cyber challenges and improving the protection of national and international data, networks and critical national and international infrastructure.
